Opening the gate to the countryside for everyone
At Countryside Connect CIC, we believe everyone deserves the chance to experience the countryside — to feel the calm of open fields, meet animals up close, and learn where our food really comes from. We open gates to nature, farming, and rural life, creating opportunities for people of all ages to connect, learn, and grow through hands-on experiences.

Meet The Team
Jasmine Barker
Founder and shepherdess, leading our Travelling Farm and community programmes with experience in animal care, education and wellbeing.
Charlotte Smith
Former teacher and fellow home educator, bringing her love for learning, organisation and the outdoors. Her family roots run deep in the farming community, and she helps shape our educational approach.
William (Bill) Booth
Experienced community volunteer, avid caver, and key keeper for Alderley Edge Mines as part of the Derbyshire Caving Club. Bill brings a sense of adventure and a passion for preserving local heritage.
